Vaco is hiring for Customer Service Representatives ** Massachusetts (Candidate must reside in Massachusetts and may work remotely) Pay $17/hour Bilingual (Spanish) preferred but not requiredRequired - Minimum of 2 steady years within healthcare Call center of health plan experienceJob ** This position handles incoming calls and serves as a direct point of contact for customers and health plans; to provide information in response to inquiries about orders.Key **Answer high-volume inbound and/or outbound calls from patients, providers, and insurance carriersVerify patient information and insurance eligibilityAssist with appointment scheduling, referrals, prior authorizations, and general inquiriesTroubleshoot basic medical equipment issues, when applicableAccurately document all calls and actions in the systemEducate patients on services, coverage, and next stepsDirect calls or unresolved issues to the appropriate department or supervisorMaintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations2+ year of call center experience, in a healthcare or medical settingStrong communication and customer service skillsFamiliarity with medical terminology, insurance verification, or billing preferredProficient in Microsoft Office and call center software systems (e.g., Epic, Athena, etc.)Able to answer a minimum of 60 calls per day including notating accountBilingual is requiredHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredWhat Were Looking ***Patience, empathy, and a calm phone presenceAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving and organizational skillsA team player who can work independently when needed Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individuals skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
