Battery Test Technician4-6 Months+ ContractMountain View, CA (Onsite)Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Battery Technician to join our team, a leader in battery manufacturing. The goal of a Battery Technician is to ensure that our battery production processes are carried out efficiently and to the highest quality standards. You will be part of the Manufacturing Operations team, responsible for assembling and testing batteries to meet rigorous quality and performance criteria. Your expertise and attention to detail will play a crucial role in helping us deliver cutting-edge, reliable batteries that power a sustainable future.As part of the Battery Manufacturing team, and deployed in the Battery Assembly sub-department, you will act as a Battery Technician for cutting-edge battery technology development and production You will take part in the day-to-day activities of the Electronics team.You will take part in optimizing the battery manufacturing processes to align with our high-level functional organization goals, ensuring efficient and high-quality battery production.You will support the Manufacturing, Quality Control, and Research & Development teams in achieving their respective outcomes, fostering collaboration and effective communication between these essential functions.You will help support problem-solving activities related to technical challenges and unachieved outcomes in the battery production process, working closely with engineers and researchers to find innovative solutions.You will help coordinate the assembly, testing, and quality control of batteries, ensuring they meet our rigorous performance and safety standards.You will take part in process improvement, resource management, and safety protocols, with a focus on efficient and successful battery manufacturing.Skills and QualificationA minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.An associate degree or certification in a related field is a plus.At least 3 years of hands-on experience in battery assembly, testing, and quality control is necessary.You have a proven track record of working with various battery technologies and have gained a deep understanding of battery manufacturing processes.You have hands-on experience in battery assembly, testing, and quality control, and have successfully resolved issues related to battery performance, resulting in improved product reliability and quality.You possess a strong and applied knowledge of battery management systems, quality control processes, and metrics for battery performance and safety. You have a thorough understanding of battery technology, including cell chemistry, manufacturing techniques, and safety protocols, and you have consistently demonstrated your expertise in these areas through your work.
