Job Title: Administrative Lead - Emergency ServicesLocation: Camarillo (Hybrid Role) MUST RESIDE IN VENTURA COUNTYPay Rate: $23.00/hourHours: Part-time, 25 hours/week Monday-FridayDuration: ASAP, Contract Assignment-5 monthsAbout the Role:We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Administrative Lead to support emergency services operations within Ventura County. In this temporary, grant-funded role, you will assist the VOAD Network Director and Project Manager with a wide range of administrative, logistical, and data-focused tasks. This position plays a vital role in ensuring smooth coordination of vendor services, meetings, and community outreach events related to disaster preparedness and response.This is a hybrid position with occasional in-person meetings. Flexibility to work varied hours-including evenings, weekends, and holidays during emergency events-is required.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate vendor communications, billing, and paymentsSupport data collection, analysis, and reporting related to grant outcomesOrganize logistics for trainings, network meetings, and public outreach eventsMaintain digital records and organize shared file systemsAssist in drafting reports, social media communications, and outreach contentHelp coordinate marketing and public awareness efforts with partnersAssist with onboarding new partners and supporting internal planning meetingsPerform other related duties as assignedWhat You Bring:Strong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesExperience with customer service and data entryProficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Ability to handle confidential information with discretionCollaborative team player with initiative and problem-solving mindset, especially under pressureAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environmentSuccessful completion of background checks, including DOJ, FBI, Child Abuse Index, and DMV clearanceWhy Join Us?This is a great opportunity for someone looking to make a meaningful impact in emergency preparedness and disaster response in their local community.
