Position Title: Donor Relations ManagerLocation: Foundation OfficeClassification: Full-Time | AdministratorThe OpportunityReporting to the Executive Director of the Foundation, the Donor Relations Manager oversees the Columbia-Greene Community College Foundations gift processing, manages comprehensive donor stewardship program including the Foundation scholarships, in collaboration with College partners. The Donor Relations Manager also serves as the Secretary to the Foundation Board of Directors.Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage the accurate and timely entry of all gifts into the Foundation database including:Maintenance of updated policies and procedures related to donor information collection and gift entry and processing.Preparation of gift receipts and acknowledgement letters.Maintenance of donor database, performing systematic cleanup, imports/exports, global updates, attributes, and code table management, as well as routine maintenance when needed.Serve as the primary liaison to the business office for gift processing, recording, and reconciliation.Develop and manage a comprehensive donor stewardship program and calendar for all donors that includes:Gift acknowledgement and donor recognition,Reporting on grant usage and outcomes,Demonstration of the impact and outcomes of giving to donors at all levels.Coordinate mass annual appeals, communications with constituents, and website updates, in collaboration with the Executive Director and the Marketing & Communications office.In collaboration with the Dean of Enrollment Management and the Financial Aid office, coordinate awarding of designated scholarship funds in alignment with scholarship criteria and spending guidelines. Provide stewardship reporting to scholarship donors.Support the Executive Director, Board committees and outside consultants with planning, coordinating, and implementing special events, both fundraising and non-fundraising throughout the year.Provide executive administrative support to the Executive Director, especially related to Foundation Board activities.Perform other duties as assigned.ExpectationsThe ability to sit or stand at a computer for long periods.Some early mornings, nights and weekends are required.Integrity and the highest sense of personal ethics.A driven collaborator with high emotional intelligence.Highly detail-oriented, thrives in managing multiple projects simultaneously.A sense of humor.QualificationsAn articulated belief in the mission of Columbia-Greene Community College, and the importance of community college educationCommunity college experience is a plus.At least three years experience in development, marketing & communication, or transferable skillsExcellent communication skills, emphasizing strong creative and business writing.Graphic design capability is a plus.Previous experience with a constituent relationship management systemExperience with Blackbaud Raisers Edge is a plus.Proficient in office technologiesColumbia-Greene Community College is a Microsoft / Teams environment.Experience with Canva, WordPress, and Oxygen is a plus.Salary and Benefit InformationSalary $62K.
