Job **Protects information assets by planning, testing, and supervising disaster recovery operations. Plays a key role in coordinating and managing disaster recovery projects, ensuring they are delivered on-time and within budget. The project manager will work with stakeholders, government agencies, local communities and partner organizations. Candidate must at least 5 years experience and, or, exceed skillfully with the ability to support all of the requirements listed below.* Develops disaster recovery preparedness by researching, developing, and enforcing policies.* Plans for disasters by establishing procedures, methods, and guidelines and understand policy compliance & eligibility.* Ensures preparation for disaster recovery by auditing and testing procedures, methods, and guidelines, updating disaster plan.* Ensures recovery of information by supervising disaster plan implementation; establishing priorities; calling for resources; contracting with recovery specialists.* Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.* Grants Management & Financial Oversight. Training & capacity building. Procurement and contract management. Technical writing and documentation.* Knowledge of FEMA Public Assistance program administration. * Knowledge of project formulation and damage assessments.Skills/***Problem Solving, Network Maintenance, Networking Knowledge, Handles Pressure, On-Call, Web Site Disaster Recovery, Supervision, Technical Understanding, Planning, Reporting Skills, Informing Others.
