We bring you Tomorrows opportunity, today.Volt is immediately hiring Test Manager in LA VERGNE, TennesseeAsTest Manager, you will be responsible for.Required Skills/Abilities:Lead and manage the Test Engineering team. Responsibilities include monitoring test related issues and allocating resources for timely resolution. Oversee the implementation of test updates, ensuring smooth integration and minimal disruption while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction. Serve as the primary liaison between the global headquarters, TE Teams within the organization and the customers engineering team.Essential Functions:Manage a team of Test Engineers and Test Technicians assigned to test for the customer productDrive test issue resolution with global headquarters and customerMonitor for new test software releases; track staged deployment (single rack testing, multiple rack testing, all production) and ensure the process completes in a timely fashionCollaborate with Global Alignment team on Test versionsMaintain awareness of customer test strategy and provide advanced notice and potential impact of changesWork with Operations and Process Engineering to define capacity requirements related to test infrastructureSupport communication of test issue details by Test Engineering team to Quality groupActively work towards process improvement, quality improvement and operational cost reductionEducation And ExperienceBachelors degree in business administration or related field requiredMasters degree in engineering preferred10 years experience in Test Engineering; at least 5 leading an Engineering TeamBasic understanding of server hardware and server testingRequired Skills/AbilitiesExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytical and critical thinking skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.Excellent organizational skills and diligence.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Other Skills and Abilities:This is a FULLY ONSITE position; must be able to report onsite daily.Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment with multiple languages spoken.Excellent organizational skills.Extremely detail oriented.Strong written and spoken English skills; Bi-lingual in Mandarin preferredAbility to operate independently in multiple locations.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift up-to 30 pounds occasionally.Ability to distinguish between colours.Ability to bend, stoop, stand/sit for prolonged periods, move about productionPublished Description: Lead and manage the Test Engineering team.
