Associate Attorney – Spanish-SpeakingLocation: Gulfport, MississippiPosition: Full-TimeSalary: Starting at $80,000+ (commensurate with experience)About the Role:Mecham Law Firm is a boutique immigration law firm located on the Mississippi Gulf Coast with a stellar reputation and a strong history of success unmatched by any competitor from Louisiana to Florida. We are seeking a licensed attorney to join our growing team in Gulfport. This position is ideal for a dedicated legal professional who is fluent in Spanish and committed to serving immigrant communities. While prior immigration experience is preferred, it is not required. We’re looking for someone with strong advocacy skills, a willingness to learn, and a genuine passion for justice.Key Responsibilities:Conduct client consultations in English and SpanishRepresent clients in immigration and state court proceedingsDraft and file motions, briefs, and legal documentsManage a diverse caseload including:Removal defenseFamily-based immigration (e.g., Adjustment of Status)Humanitarian relief including Asylum, VAWA, U-Visa, T-Visa, TPS, Parole, Cuban Adjustment ActSpecial Immigrant Juvenile (SIJ) cases and related custody matters in state courtPreferred Qualifications:Experience in immigration law or courtroom advocacyFamiliarity with humanitarian immigration forms and proceduresBenefits:Competitive salary starting at $80,000+, based on experiencePaid time off (PTO) and flexible work scheduleSome meals providedOngoing training and mentorshipTravel expenses covered for work-related case travelFirm-paid Continuing Legal Education (CLE) expensesHow to Apply:Submit your resume and a brief cover letter to [your email address].
