Advanced Materials Technologies , the leader in aftermarket aerospace component repair services, is looking for a CNC Setup Machinist to join their team in Chandler, AZ If you are a CNC Setup Machinist with 3+ years of experience , then AMT wants to hear from you! 5-axis, horizontal, and/or vertical experience is a huge plus! Lift yourself to new heights as the only thing preventing you from rising ranks is your ambition. Two great Monday - Friday shifts available! 1 st shift: 5:00am - 1:30pm 2 nd shift: 1:30pm - 10:00pm. Duties and Responsibilities: Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models. Set up CNC machines (mills, lathes, etc.) according to specifications. Select and install appropriate tools, fixtures, and workholding devices. Load and verify CNC programs (G-code) and make necessary edits. Set tool and work offsets; establish machine zero/reference points. Run test parts and perform first article inspections. Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators, etc.) to inspect parts. Adjust machine settings and tooling to achieve required tolerances. Troubleshoot setup or production issues and make necessary corrections. Ensure parts meet quality and dimensional specifications. Conduct in-process and final inspections as needed. Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning. Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Collaborate with programmers, engineers, and quality inspectors. Document setup sheets, inspection results, and production notes. Provide training or guidance to operators or junior machinists.
