SUMMARY This Contract Administrator / Accounts Receivable position reports to the Accounting Supervisor and supports the President and Controller. The Contract Administrator / Accounts Receivable position will refer to the Project Manager for specific job related items. Task prioritization is criterial for this role.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the *****Manage Contract Administration & project set up/data entry in ViewpointIssue and file Notice of Commencement, Notice of FurnishingsMaintain file of all Bond correspondenceManage lien information and distribute to Project Management, Operations Manager, and PresidentResponsible for preparing monthly invoices (AIA documents, gathering waivers)Manage subcontract administration, including payments and compliance inquiries from subcontractorsAll other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSStrong time management, adhering to deadlines and schedulesAbility to conform to change with each projectStrong communication with clarity and respectPossess conflict resolution and mediation skillsMaintain accurate and well-organized filesKnowledge of contract law is a plusEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Previous accounting experience in the construction industry strongly desired.
