Apply now for immediate consideration!Primary duties of the Machine Operator ** Responsible for operating machines, and handling materials.* Keep assigned tools organized.* Mechanical aptitude is a must, as well as ability to perform basic mathematical functions.* Familiar with computer operating equipment.* Perform assigned tasks in a timely and orderly manner.* Ensure quality of work. * Keep work areas clean and organized.* Maintain safe work practices and environment.* Ability to work on various machines, and additional departments.* Communicate as necessary with coworkers and supervisors.* Always Work safely by abiding by all O.S.H.A. regulations.* Ensure that order commitments are met.* Meet or exceed production goals.* Follow process monitoring instructions.* Promote continuous improvement through input and feedback* Additional duties as assigned by leads, supervisors, and management.* Able to work on an off shift.Requirements of the Machine Operator ** Must be able to use a micrometer, and a tape measure.* Heavy lifting (up to 60 pounds), bending, and stooping might be required.* Able to work independently as well as part of a team.* Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.* Strong work ethic.* Punctuality is a must.* Must have at least two years of experience as a machine operator and it must be recent. ***** 3rd shift Friday- Saturday 7:00pm - 7:30amPay ***** Starting pay is 19/hour and goes up depending on experience.
