JOB SUMMARY: Preparing paper rolls for printing before preparing printed paper roll for transfer to other processing area within the plant. Products/Materials Produced and/or Services ProvidedPrinted paper for beverage cups. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES: Set up Production Rolls **Receive paper mill rollCut covering off rollPlace roll on trackPrep machine Cut off tagsCut two layers of paper and tape paperLoad paper on winding machine.Remove core plugsRemove metal bandTape measure per ASet up Production Rolls *Once roll comes out of printing press, cut sample for operator.Tape rollTake air out of shaftPut tags inside roll and stick tags on outside of rollPlace core plugsStrap the paper rollPush out with roll pusher for pickup.****Maintain safe and clean work environment around press.Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
