Quality Inspector (3rd Shift)

Quality Inspector- Sun-Thur 11PM - 7:15AM Sparks, NV 89431 Able to work through the night with little supervision Good communication skills Basic computer literacy Ability to convey activities or problems through daily reporting Good attendance Check quality of product through multiple stages of production Key responsibilities Inspect products:  Perform visual and physical inspections of products at various stages, checking for defects or improper sealing. Verify specifications:  Confirm that materials and finished products comply with company specifications, and quality standards. Document results:  Complete inspection reports, maintain accurate logs, and input data into a quality database. Report defects:  Communicate any issues to supervisors and production teams for corrective action. Maintain equipment:  Keep tools and equipment in good working order by following operating instructions and initiating repairs when necessary. Maintain a safe environment:  Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, and help maintain a clean and organized work area.  Required skills and qualifications Attention to detail:  A sharp eye for identifying defects and ensuring precision. Computer literacy:  Proficiency with basic computer programs like Microsoft Word and Excel. Communication skills:  Ability to communicate findings clearly and effectively to supervisors and production staff. Dexterity and stamina:  Ability to stand for long periods, bend, reach, and lift up to 35 pounds. Basic math skills:  Strong mathematical abilities for measurements and data analysis. Problem-solving:  Ability to identify issues and propose solutions NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Ability to keep a clean work area. Ability to assist other employees in the department as required and as time permits. Ability to train new department employees as requested.
