Find your future with us. Job Description:The IT Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and integrating complex systems at every stage of their lifecycle. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation with an eye toward accessibility, optimization, and security, within the infrastructure.To be successful in this position, the ideal candidate should be a highly motivated, results-driven individual who thrives in a cross-team collaborative environment.This position's internal job code is Sys Design & Integration Spec. Our team is currently hiring for a level 4.Position Responsibilities:Install and configure operating systems, software, and hardware components, and clearly document the design, maintenance, and support procedures for routine tasks to leverage IT support staffUse expert-level configuration, administration and optimization of hosts and servers to ensure high availability of infrastructure and systemsParticipate in the design of information and operational support systemsResearch and recommend innovative, and where possible, automated approaches for system engineering tasksBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Linux and Windows architect experienceVirtualization expertise (vSphere, ESXi, Hyper-V)Azure and Office 365 Tenant administrationStorage Services and Platforms (e.g. Dell PowerStore, PowerVault)CompTIA Security+ CertificateBachelor’s degree from an accepted and accredited college or university with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science or equivalent work experienceFour (4) years of system engineering experience or minimum seven (7) in a senior system administrator roleThis position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
