Job DescriptionAmerican Traveler is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Columbia, Missouri.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Interventional Radiology TechnologistDiscipline: Allied Health ProfessionalStart Date: 02/02/2026Duration: 13 weeks40 hours per weekShift: 8 hours, daysEmployment Type: Travel/n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of specialty experience to support advanced neuro and body interventional procedures./n /n Responsibilities/n Work in a Level 1 Trauma and Stroke Center specializing in both outpatient and inpatient interventional radiologyDepartment serves adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients across all acuitiesProcedures include neuro and body interventions such as Y90, TIPs, chemoembolization, UFE, PAE, trauma, stroke, carotid stenting, drains, biopsies, lumbar punctures, kyphoplasty, line placements, ports, filters, peripheral stenting, AV fistula declotting or stenting, and PE/DVTsUtilizes Siemens fluoroscopy and Philips ultrasound equipmentTwo biplane rooms, two single plane rooms, and one dedicated ultrasound room availableMcKesson PACS and Cerner Powerchart EMR are used; Cerner experience preferred but not requiredDay shifts (5x8 hours), 8:00 AM to 4:30 PMCall requirement is 1 weekend per month and 1-2 call days per week, with 2 technologists on call per shift (primary and secondary)Work closely with a team of 5 body IR physicians, 3 neurointerventional physicians, and up to 9 IR technologistsFirst-time travelers are accepted for this assignmentMust include all requested RTO at time of applicationLocal candidates within 75 miles are accepted at a reduced rateHalf of holiday shifts during contract are requiredExpect to function in a collaborative environment with a main and backup on-call technologist each night/n /n Requirements/n Active MO or compact state license required if applicableMinimum of 2 years of radiology experience and at least 1 year in interventional radiologyProficiency with neuro and body IR procedures utilizing single and biplane radiography unitsAbility to work assigned location, shifts, and take weekday/weekend callMust be able to work at least 50 percent of holidays during contractCerner EMR experience preferred but not requiredMust provide two professional references for consideration/n Benefits/n High Pay and BonusesMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options401(k) PlanWeekly Payroll DepositFree Online CEUsGenerous Housing AllowanceTravel and Licensure ReimbursementsNon-taxed Per Diem and SubsidyTraveler Rewards and Discounts/n American Traveler Job ID #P-659485.
