This role supports high-quality oncology imaging workflows and provides essential diagnostic services. You will join a collaborative imaging team that values professional growth, clinical excellence, and patient-centered care.Essential Job FunctionsMaintain ARRT or modality-specific clinical competenciesVerify orders, ensure proper patient identification, and prepare patients for examsPerform imaging exams per protocol; assess image quality and accuracyFollow radiation safety guidelines and maintain compliance with NRC and regulatory agenciesComplete studies efficiently without compromising patient care standardsProvide patient instruction, education, and comfort during proceduresAssist and mentor students and technologists on procedures and equipmentApply sterile and infection control techniquesOperate imaging equipment and electronic imaging systemsMaintain accurate documentation per state and Joint Commission standardsFollow protocols around medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, QC, and equipment reportingMinimum QualificationsCurrent license in state of practiceARRT or NMTCB clinical board certificationBasic Life Support (BLS) certificationIV certificationOne year of clinical Nuclear Medicine experienceWhy Intermountain HealthWe offer a supportive environment focused on growth, innovation, and high-quality patient care.
