The Senior AP/AR Specialist will generate accurate freight invoicing to CHS customers and perform tasks related to CHST drivers, owner operators and common carriers’ compensation. This is a hybrid position which can be based out of Grand Forks ND, Sioux Falls SD, or Inver Grove Heights MN.ResponsibilitiesInvoice freight customersProvide analysis of rates/routesSystem Updates for rates and fuel surchargeSeek approvals for accessorial feesRecap/ReportCode and Enter Payroll InformationReconcile/Release Driver PayrollEnter applicable operator deductions and release settlements for paymentMaintain and retain documents per retention policySet up Driver /Master/MOLConduct Orientation/TrainingMonitor/Report Training ProcessesUpload invoicing information into online payment applicationsResolve customer invoicing disputesAssist credit on collection of aging invoicesMinimum Qualifications (required) 2+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, and/or AP/AR High School diploma or GED Additional QualificationsProficient in MS Office suiteExperience using automated financial and accounting systemsStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong attention to detail and organization skillsAssociate's degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business, Business Administration, or related fieldPre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position.
