Find your future with us.Millennium Space Systems (MSS), a part of Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a MuleSoft Integration Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing integrations across our enterprise application ecosystem. This role is pivotal in unifying systems such as ERP, PLM, MES, and HRIS to enable seamless data flow and process automation throughout the company. As we scale our operations and accelerate digital transformation, you’ll play a key role in shaping the architecture and governance of our integration strategy. This is an onsite role in El Segundo, California.Position Responsibilities:Architect, design, and implement API-led integrations using the MuleSoft Anypoint PlatformDefine and enforce integration standards, best practices, and patterns to ensure reliability, performance, and scalabilityPartner with application, infrastructure, and business teams to identify integration requirements and translate them into robust solutionsDevelop and maintain reusable APIs and integration assets across enterprise systems (ERP, PLM, MES, HRIS, etc.)Serve as subject matter expert on MuleSoft capabilities, governance models, and lifecycle managementGuide technical teams in troubleshooting complex integration issues and improving system observabilityCollaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure integration meets all corporate and regulatory standardsProvide technical leadership and mentoring to developers and administrators supporting MuleSoft-based solutionsBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field5+ years of experience in enterprise integration with 3+ years using MuleSoft Anypoint PlatformProven experience designing APIs, data flows, and system integrations for ERP, PLM, MES, or HRIS platformsStrong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, OAuth 2.0, and integration protocols (HTTP, FTP, JMS, etc.)Hands-on experience with MuleSoft components: API Manager, Runtime Manager, DataWeave, and Anypoint StudioDeep knowledge of software architecture principles, including event-driven and service-oriented architectures (EDA/SOA)Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholdersPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect or DeveloperExperience integrating systems like Deltek Costpoint, SAP, Oracle, Workday, or TeamcenterFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices related to API development and deploymentBackground in the aerospace, defense, or manufacturing industriesExperience with other middleware platforms (e.g., Boomi, Informatica)Conflict of Interest:Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.Drug Free Workplace:Millennium Space Systems, A Boeing Company is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits: Millennium Space Systems, A Boeing Company, offers a very competitive benefits package to include medical, dental, vision, and 401k plan.Level 4: $103,900 - $192,500Applications for this position will be accepted until Mar. 27, 2026Export Control Requirements: This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements.
