How youll make an impact in this role Ascension Columbia St. Marys Hospital is looking for a Structural Heart / Interventional Cardiology NP / PA for our Cardiology department. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension Columbia St. Marys Milwaukee to provide medical services to patients. Position Highlights: Time will be shared between clinic and hospital. Rotation is St. Marys Ozaukee, St. Marys Milwaukee and All Saints for clinic days. This person will work with the team that also works with our interventional and structural cardiology team. No weekends / no call. Responsibilities: In collaboration with a physician, provide for the expansion of individualized primary healthcare services by diagnosing and treating certain acute or chronic health conditions. Obtain patient history and perform assessment via observation, interview and examination. Order, perform and interpret diagnostic studies. Perform preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and patient care. Provide direct treatment and management of health conditions via referral to other healthcare providers or community resources. Counsel and educate patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources. Document delivery of health care and nursing processes in accordance with specific specialty area standards and network nursing policy. What minimum qualifications youll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. One or more of the following required: Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Minnesota Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensure is dependent on state associate works in. Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensure is dependent on state associate works in. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Minnesota Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensure is dependent on state associate works in. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State. Licensure is dependent on state associate works in. Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred. Education: Masters degree of Nursing required.
