Performs advanced Patient Care Coordinator duties with a high level of autonomy and competency. Serves as a key member of the department, delivering excellent customer service and supporting strong patient-clinician relationships. In addition to core responsibilities, handles administrative tasks for a busy clinical practice.Schedule: FT, 40 hours.Monday - Friday, will be working an 8-hr shift between the hours of 8am - 6pm.Location: 147 Milk St. Boston, MA (Post Office Square)Dept: Internal Medicine / Family MedicinePrimary Responsibilities:Serve as a role model and mentor for support staff; assist with onboarding and trainingManage complex scheduling tasks, including appointment booking, template adjustments, and patient outreachEnsure accurate data collection and reporting; handle follow-up activities and referral trackingDeliver exceptional customer service, resolving escalated issues and supporting patient satisfactionOversee waiting room operations, verify patient information, and assist with check-in/check-out processesComplete and process forms, prior authorizations, prescription renewals, and other documentationCollaborate with supervisors on coverage and workflow; lead huddles as neededParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and special projectsWhat are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group?
