W2 Position! AI Architect (Copilot Experience)

Job Title: AI Architect (Copilot Experience) Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)- Relocation Works Duration: Long Term Overview: We are seeking an experienced AI Architect with strong Copilot experience to design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade AI solutions. This role will focus on leveraging Microsoft Copilot, Generative AI, and enterprise AI platforms to drive intelligent automation, enhance productivity, and deliver scalable AI-driven solutions across business functions. Responsibilities: Design and architect AI/GenAI solutions using Microsoft Copilot (M365 Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Copilot Studio) Lead the development of AI-powered enterprise applications using Azure OpenAI and related services Define AI architecture standards, frameworks, and best practices Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify AI use cases and transformation opportunities Integrate Copilot solutions with enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, collaboration tools) Ensure responsible AI practices, including governance, security, and compliance Guide teams in prompt engineering, model tuning, and AI workflow optimization Drive automation and productivity improvements using AI copilots Oversee end-to-end AI lifecycle: design, development, testing, deployment, and monitoring Mentor development teams and provide technical leadership Required Skills: 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in AI/ML or AI architecture Strong hands-on experience with: Microsoft Copilot (M365 Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Copilot Studio) Azure OpenAI / Azure AI Services Generative AI (LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG architectures) Experience designing enterprise AI architectures Strong knowledge of: Python, APIs, microservices Cloud platforms (Azure preferred) Experience integrating AI with enterprise systems (SAP, Salesforce, etc.) Understanding of data architecture, governance, and security Excellent stakeholder communication and leadership skills Preferred Skills: Experience with AI governance and ethical AI frameworks Knowledge of vector databases and semantic search Experience with LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or similar frameworks Prior experience in consulting or enterprise transformation projects Microsoft/Azure AI certifications
