StaffMed Health Partners is recruiting a Post-Acute Care Facility Medical Director for a leading national physician services organization in a SNF setting in Laurinburg - Whiteville, NC. Perks and Benefits: Compensation: Competitive base salary commensurate with experience, plus productivity and quality incentives Employed W-2 position with Americas largest physician services organization Schedule: Full-Time (FT) 4 days/week - M-F, able to select 1 day off Tues-Thurs Productivity bonus and quality incentives on top of base Sign-on bonus and relocation allowance Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance 4 weeks PTO plus paid holidays Paid malpractice with tail coverage Annual CME allowance plus paid CME days 401(k) with employer match Strong leadership pathway (Facility Medical Director, Regional Medical Director, CMO) Dedicated administrative, billing, credentialing, and scheduling support Clinician wellness program and responsive regional management On-Call: Yes Position Highlights: Serve as dedicated Facility Medical Director per CMS F-Tag 841 for one or more SNF sites Provide on-the-ground clinical leadership: physician coverage assurance, on-call backup, escalation pathway Round on a focused attending panel (typically 30-50 patients) alongside leadership duties Lead QAPI, infection prevention, antibiotic stewardship, and survey readiness for the facility Mentor and supervise on-site APPs and rotating attendings Partner directly with the Director of Nursing and Administrator on clinical operations Qualifications: BC in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics Prior SNF / post-acute experience strongly preferred CMD credential preferred or willingness to obtain Comfort with regulatory compliance, MDS, PDPM, and survey response Active state license (or eligible) and DEA where applicable Board Certification: yes About Laurinburg - Whiteville, NC: Laurinburg and Whiteville are small communities in southeastern North Carolina, offering a quiet pace of life with easy access to Wilmingtons beaches, Pinehurst golf, and Fayetteville.
