Position Overview$75M+ in revenue heavy civil shop looking for an estimator with 3+ years experience. I'm a heavy civil recruiter and have several positions open in NYC and CT.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates for heavy highway and civil construction projects.Conduct quantity takeoffs and utilize Agtek for effective cost analysis.Analyze bids and prepare bid analysis reports for management review.Collaborate with project managers to ensure cost estimates align with project scopes and timelines.Review and assess subcontractor bids and procurement options for cost efficiency.Provide support during project turnover and assist in budget management throughout the project lifecycle.Required QualificationsMinimum of 3 years of experience in estimating for heavy highway, civil construction, or bridge construction projects.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.Agtek, Bluebeam, or similar a plusStrong understanding of earthwork, paving, concrete, subcontracting, and procurement processes.Heavy highway, bridge, utility experience a plusBenefits401k (with match)Medical/dental/vision insurancePTOLife InsuranceProfit SharingEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
