Civil Litigator - Patent Litigation

Civil Litigation AttorneyPosition OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of civil litigation cases, providing expert legal representation and strategic counsel to our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of civil law and litigation processes, as well as the ability to effectively advocate for clients in court and negotiate favorable settlements.Key ResponsibilitiesRepresent clients in civil litigation cases in court and during pre-trial proceedings.Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.Develop case strategies and provide legal advice to clients regarding their rights and obligations.Negotiate settlements and engage in alternative dispute resolution processes when appropriate.Attend depositions, hearings, and trials, presenting evidence and arguments to support the client's case.Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure comprehensive case management.Stay updated on developments in civil law and litigation practices to provide the best representation for clients.QualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active Texas bar license to practice law.Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation.Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and laws.Experience in patent litigation, commercial litigation, and employment litigation is preferred.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.Email Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
