Insurance Defense Attorney - Medical MalpracticePosition OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Insurance Defense Attorney specializing in Medical Malpractice to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert legal representation to our clients in medical malpractice cases, managing all aspects of litigation from investigation through trial and resolution.Key ResponsibilitiesRepresent clients in medical malpractice litigation and related legal matters.Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategies and arguments.Manage all phases of case management, including preparation for depositions and trial.Prepare and review legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence.Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to resolve disputes efficiently.Review medical records and collaborate with medical experts to establish defense strategies.Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to medical malpractice cases.Advise clients on legal rights, responsibilities, and risks associated with their cases.QualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance defense, with a focus on medical malpractice cases.Strong legal research and writing skills.Proven experience in litigation and trial preparation.Excellent negotiation and client representation skills.Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize effectively.Familiarity with medical terminology and regulatory compliance issues.Email Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
