We are proud to grow and process healthy products for healthier lives and, every day, we try to make them better.Job DescriptionThe Mobile Shop Supervisor provides technical support for the safe and efficient operation of our facility. Troubleshoots issues, repairs failures of production and facilities equipment, and ensures maximum efficiency and effectiveness of operations. Understands process flow and evaluates ways to increase operating efficiency.Job Responsibilities1. Assign crews to specific tasks in order to meet daily mine maintenance goals2. Supervise crew activities throughout shifts to ensure safe and efficient accomplishment of assignments3. Develop crew skills to levels of maximum efficiency and safety4. Works with Maintenance Personnel to ensure that all parts, special tools and equipment necessary to complete a planned task are available and accounted for before the job commences5. Perform daily administrative duties such as time cards, reports, supply requisitions, effective safety meetings and manage daily workload6. Maintain accurate and up to date records of work performed. Keeping daily schedules of both reactive and proactive work performed7. This position is responsible for a staff of 7+ mechanics8. Develop maintenance assignments9. Ensure optimum use of facilities and equipment10. Be a liaison with operations to plan, monitor, and execute maintenance, capital and construction projects. Identify duration of maintenance or repair activity on equipment or facilities2. Possesses good communication and interpersonal skills13. Help develop other department personnel to perform the duties listed above14. Consistently exercises discretion and judgment in job performance15. Works without risk or harm to self and others16. Possession of a valid driver's license issued by a state agency is required17. Punctuality and regular attendance required18. Perform other related functions as assigned by supervisorEducation and Experience1. It is important that the incumbent fosters team spirit among crew members and motivates them to meet production goals. 2. A minimum of 5 years heavy equipment experience in a mining or construction environment with a combination of field and office work required3. At least three years of lead or direct supervisory experience or adequate supervisory training is required4. Must show strong emphasis on Planned/Scheduled work practices5. Supervises employees6. Must be able to adapt to constant shift changesPay range:$73,000 - $86,500/yr and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills& experience.
