Join our team and bring your best self to the table.What You Will Be DoingResponsible for the operation and maintenance of all ammonia systems, fire monitoring systems, boiler systems, heat exchangers and glycol systems. Handle all "after hours" calls when on swing/night shift for the Distribution Center and property.The position will be based inDenver, CO.Main ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain electrical systems, mechanical equipment such as central plant refrigeration, steam boilers and air condition systemsUpdate log sheets with temperatures and pressures, oil levels, vessels, banana rooms temperatures, and warehouse temperaturesWork with outside vendors as neededWorking environment may be wet, cold, freezing and/or may have sudden temperature changesThe pay range is $37.97 to $38.47 hourly, but no less than the local minimum wage. Starting rates will vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Dependent on length of service and hours worked, benefits include healthcare, sick pay, PTO/Vacation pay and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401k eligibility).Shift for this position is a 12-hour night shift, working 3 days one week and 4 days the next.A copy of the full job description can be made available to you.What We Are Searching ForExpertise Ammonia RefrigerationExperience in mechanical systemsPossess excellent computer skills including proficiency with Frick controls and basic DDCWorking knowledge of PSM, RMP and knowledge of EPA and OSHA requirementsUnderstand defrost/hot gas by-passFamiliar with air handlers and condensersKnow and understand refrigeration systemsUnderstand VFD's, fire systems, computers, control valves, switches, piping controlsAble to work all shifts including holidays and weekendsAble to lift over 50 pounds and able to push, pull, stoop, reach stand and walk during most of the shiftOwn your own tools and have knowledge of power toolsHigh school diploma or trade school equivalent requiredFour years of refrigeration experiencePossess or obtain Denver County Stationary Engineer's license within 90 days or hireWhat is it like at Albertsons?Our 290,000 associates have a passion for great service and building lasting relationships with our customers.
