This role requires a deep understanding of electrical systems, materials, and labor costs, and the ability to analyze project specifications to generate thorough estimates that align with the company's goals.Key ResponsibilitiesReview project plans and specifications to understand the scope of workPrepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects, including labor, materials, and overheadUtilize estimating software such as Accubid and Livecount to create accurate estimatesCollaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure estimates meet project requirementsConduct site visits to gather necessary information and assess project conditionsAnalyze historical data to improve estimation processes and accuracyPresent estimates to management and clients as neededMaintain and update cost databases and estimation templates for future projectsQualificationsProven experience as an electrical estimator in the commercial construction industryStrong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and labor costsFamiliarity with estimating software, particularly Accubid and Livecount preferredProficiency in Bluebeam and other construction-related softwareExcellent analytical and mathematical skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlinesEffective communication skills, both verbal and writtenBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferredBenefitsCompetitive compensation with annual reviews: $100K-130K DOEMedical/Dental/Vision coverage for employees and their dependents401(k) plan with company matchAccident, Cancer, Personal Recovery, Disability, and Life Insurance plansPaid Vacation and Sick Time Off commensurate with tenureHoliday Pay (8 paid holidays)Tuition Reimbursement Program...and more!Email Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
