Tax SeniorPosition OverviewWe are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Tax Senior to oversee our tax compliance and reporting processes. The ideal candidate will manage tax planning, ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, and provide strategic advice to help minimize tax liabilities for individuals and businesses.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and review the preparation and filing of all Staff and other Seniors' tax returns for individuals, S-Corps, C-Corps, and partnerships.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and reporting requirements.Provide strategic tax planning and advice to high net worth individuals and business owners.Supervise and mentor junior tax staff and provide training on tax-related matters.Review and analyze tax returns and financial statements to identify tax-saving opportunities.Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders regarding tax matters and planning strategies.Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and inform client strategies.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree in Taxation or Accounting preferred.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.Enrolled Agent (EA) certification is a plus.Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax accounting or public accounting, with a focus on compliance and reporting.Strong understanding of S-Corp, C-Corp, partnership, and individual tax issues.Experience with high net worth clients and complex tax situations.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Benefits10 Paid holidays per year3+ weeks of PTO30 hours of sick time per year401k with employer matchMedical, Dental, Vision, Long Term Disability, Short Term Disability, Accident Insurance, Hospital InsuranceEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
