Architectural Project Manager - Facade Restoration & WaterproofingBayside, NY - $130,000 - 150,000Position OverviewThe Architectural Project Manager is responsible for overseeing architectural projects from inception to completion, ensuring that designs meet client specifications and comply with relevant building codes. This role requires a strong understanding of architectural design, construction management, and effective team collaboration to deliver projects on time and within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesManage facade restoration, waterproofing, and roofing projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to quality standards, budgets, and timelines.Conduct on-site inspections and assessments of building exteriors, facades, and roofs to evaluate conditions and recommend solutions.Prepare and review design plans, technical specifications, and project documentation in compliance with local codes and industry standards.Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to develop effective repair and restoration strategies.Oversee project progress, addressing any challenges or discrepancies that arise during construction.Ensure compliance with NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) regulations, including FISP (Local Law 11) requirements.Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience in architectural project management with a strong focus on facade restoration, waterproofing, and roof replacement projects.Proven expertise in building envelope investigations, forensic analysis, and material assessments.Familiarity with NYC building codes, FISP (Local Law 11), and other relevant regulations.Strong project management skills, including experience with budgeting, scheduling, and contractor coordination.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and other design and project management software.Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, and construction teams effectively.Registered Architect (RA) or Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
