Senior Estimator - Commercial

Responsibilities include providing estimates and proposals for schematic budgeting, design development, value engineering, and negotiated projects.To express interest or verify qualifications, email the recruiter directly at michael.crabtree@Key ResponsibilitiesAct as a team lead and help manage the estimating department.Manage multiple projects and estimates, ensuring all bid deadlines are met.Review, create, and submit detailed and accurate estimates and proposals.Follow up on submitted proposals, addressing any scope-related questions to secure the sale.Attend site visits, pre-bid meetings, and review specifications to clarify scope requirements.Communicate with clients to discuss scope needs, schedule requirements, and specific project details.QualificationsProficiency in On Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid software.Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, agendas, contracts, and construction processes with meticulous attention to detail.Capability to analyze project schedules and manpower requirements.Experience with Word, Excel, Bluebeam, and Outlook.5+ years of experience as a drywall estimator, with in-depth knowledge of drywall systems and a general understanding of related building systems.A degree in construction, architecture, or engineering is preferred; however, a combination of field experience and computer proficiency will also be considered.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients to encourage repeat and new businessThe successful candidate will work closely with the Chief Estimator and the Pre-Construction Manager, with the potential to advance into a senior estimating role.BenefitsSalary $100K-$120K (based on experience)401k with matchPaid Holidays Health Insurance Dental VisionEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
