The Electrical Supervisor has responsibility for the planning, execution, and supervision of Electrical and Instrumentation work needed to support the operation of the Precision Coated business unit. The Electrical Supervisor will also work on upgrades to electrical equipment and controls to improve reliability and reduce costly repairs. Job Responsibilities: Electrical maintenance support of coating lines and associated equipment.Troubleshooting and problem-solving of maintenance issues.Providing electrical crew daily direction, technical support, training, and supervision to ensure work is completed efficiently and to industry standards.Documentation of work orders, maintenance procedures, calibrations, programs, inspections, drawings, and maintenance logs to support troubleshooting and efficient work.Providing safety briefings, policies, and plans to the electrical crew to ensure work is completed safely and follows applicable codes.Collaborating with production team to ensure resources are working on highest site priorities.Collaborating with mechanical maintenance team on troubleshooting and repair work.All other assignments assigned by management.Must follow Ahlstrom manufacturing and hygiene processes, procedures and policies, as applicable, to the position's areas of responsibility, in order to meet and maintain the safety, quality, and regulatory compliance requirements for each grade of paper.This is not an exhaustive list of duties or functions and may not necessarily comprise all the "essential functions" for purposes of the ADA. Education & Experience: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred; may consider other engineering or science disciplines in conjunction with applicable work experience.Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in an industrial setting.Electrical, PLC, and instrumentation troubleshooting skillsets.Aptitude in electromechanical and mechanical maintenance principles is preferred.Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and methodical approach to work.Good written and verbal communication skills as well as teamwork skills are essential.Fluent written and spoken EnglishMust be able to effectively interact with a wide range of people including production and salaried employees.The ability to work in a normal office environment to include sitting or standing for long periods of time, operating various standard office equipment, carrying paper documents/files, reaching and bending, speaking on the telephone.
