Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Associate Defense Attorney specializing in Employment Law to join our legal team. The successful candidate will assist in defending clients against employment-related claims and provide legal advice on employment law matters. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client base and engage in challenging litigation cases.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the defense of employment law claims including wrongful termination, discrimination, and harassment cases.Conduct legal research and analysis on employment law issues to support litigation strategies.Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.Attend court hearings and depositions, representing clients effectively and professionally.Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop and implement litigation strategies.Advise clients on compliance with employment laws and regulations, including PAGA claims.Maintain case files and documentation in an organized manner, ensuring all deadlines are met.QualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in the state bar association.4+ years of experience in employment law or related civil litigation.Strong understanding of general civil litigation principles and practices.Demonstrated ability to develop litigation strategies and conduct effective legal research.Familiarity with PAGA and other employment-related statutes is preferred.Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.Email Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
