Position OverviewThe Fire Extinguisher Technician is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and service of fire extinguishers to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. This role involves working in various environments, including commercial, industrial, and residential settings, providing exceptional customer service while maintaining high safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesInspect, test, and maintain fire extinguishers in accordance with NFPA standards and OSHA regulations.Replace or repair malfunctioning fire extinguishers and associated equipment.Provide detailed reports on inspection findings and recommendations to clients.Schedule and manage service appointments and job sites efficiently.Educate clients on fire safety and proper use of fire extinguishers.Collaborate with other technicians and service teams to complete projects on time and within budget.Maintain accurate records of all inspections and services performed.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in fire protection preferred.Proven experience in service and maintenance of fire extinguishers.Strong understanding of NFPA codes and standards related to fire protection.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and documentation.Previous experience in fire alarm systems or fire suppression systems is a plus.Benefits401(k) with matchingFlexible spending accountHealth, Dental and Vision insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offRetirement planEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
