Tax Manager

This position is for an ambitious individual looking to advance their career in a rapidly growing and successful CPA practice.Key Responsibilities:Serve as the point of contact and provide a broad range of services for businesses, individuals, whilst maintaining strong relationships.Provide personalized tax planning and consulting services to meet client needs.Oversee the preparation and review of complex individual, trust, and partnership tax returns.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.Collaborate with clients to develop and implement tax strategies that align with their f inancial goals.Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a collaborative and high performing work environment.Provide guidance on technical tax matters and assist in professional developmentIdentify opportunities for expanding services and enhancing client relationships.Participate in business development activities to attract new private clients. Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;CPA or JD/LLM preferred but not necessaryExperience preparing business and personal taxesStrong knowledge of private client taxProven leadership and managerial skills with the ability to mentor and develop team membersExceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and internal stakeholders Salary: Competetive salary commensurate with experience and bonus structure.
