Location: Los Angeles, CA (Los Angeles International Airport)Shift: 2nd 1:00pm-9:30pmPay: $35.00-$43.00/Hr.Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Engineer with a valid California C-20 license to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in residential and commercial settings.Responsibilities:Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and refrigeration unitsDiagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues using appropriate tools and equipmentPerform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiencyRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manualsEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including proper handling of refrigerantsProvide clear explanations and recommendations to clients regarding HVAC system operations and maintenanceMaintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each jobParticipate in ongoing training to stay current with industry advancements and best practicesRespond to emergency calls as needed, including evenings and weekendsRequirements:Valid California C-20 Warm-Air Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning Contractor licenseMinimum of 3 years of experience as an HVAC technicianStrong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, repair, and maintenance techniquesFamiliarity with local and state building codes and regulationsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and customer service abilitiesPhysical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in confined spacesValid driver's license and clean driving recordEPA Section 608 Certification (Universal preferred)Preferred Qualifications:NATE (North American Technician Excellence) certificationExperience with energy management systems and smart HVAC technologiesKnowledge of green building practices and energy-efficient HVAC solutionsWe offer competitive compensation, benefits, and opportunities for professional growth.
