Job Title: Litigation Attorney-General Liability/Insurance DefenseLocation: 100% REMOTE. Must be licensed in CA.Salary: $150k-$190k/yrRequirements: We are open to all levels of candidates! Must have at least 2+ yrs of insurance defense/general liability Defense type of lit experience. We are an exciting start-up comprised of former Big Law Senior Partners with large books of biz that need help delivering for our clients! This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing operation for attorneys interested in continuing their defense careers (insurance, pro liability, med mal, etc.) for a company that has the safety net of BigLaw but the culture of a start-up!100% REMOTE, MUST BE LICENSED TO PRACTICE IN CA AND LIVING IN CA. MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2-3 YEARS OF INSURANCE DEFENSE EXPERIENCE AND HAVE EXPERIENCE HANDLING MULTIPLE CASELOADS SIMUTANTEOUSLY.Position Overview: Our firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney with a background in General Liability/Insurance Defense to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the successful and timely defense of clients facing claims of legal liability. You will be responsible for developing and executing a litigation strategy that is designed to protect the interests of the client.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct legal research, develop case strategy, and prepare legal briefs and documents.Advise clients on legal liabilities, risks, and other related issues.Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials, depositions, and hearings.Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations and apply them to specific cases.Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.Communicate with opposing counsel to discuss legal issues.Keep abreast of changes and developments in the law.QualificationsJuris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.3+ years of litigation experience with a focus on General Liability/Insurance Defense.Experience conducting legal research, developing case strategy, and preparing legal briefs and documents.Excellent writing, verbal communication, and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.BenefitsMedical dental vision Unlimited vacation. 1800 min billing.
