With a career as a Senior AV Engineer, you'll make the end user's experience your priority and we'll make your career growth ours.HOW A SENIOR AV ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:Serve as a team or task leadCoach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionalsCollaborating with clients to determine AV needs before an eventTransporting, setting up and connecting all audio-visual equipment for live performancesCollaborating with IT staff to integrate AV systems into network infrastructureDesigns and defines system architecture for new or existing AV systemsAbility to understand as built line drawings, and project schedulesInstalling permanent AV equipment in conference roomsTesting the equipment to ensure everything is connected correctly and the signal is strongExperience with AV control systems like Crestron, Extron. Production level knowledge of Zoom/TeamsExpertise in networking and IP-based AV solutionsComfortable working with cabling, wiring, and electrical systemsStrong understanding of acoustics and sound system designAbility to work well under pressure manage multiple tasks simultaneously and make decisions quicklyFamiliarity with video production and editing softwareStaying up-to-date with the latest AV technologies and industry trendsProject management skills and experience leading AV projectsFlexibility to travel to different sites for installations and supportPrepares and maintains documentation for processes and proceduresMaintains current knowledge of rapidly changing AV technology and works with management to evolve current designs and processesWHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:Education/Experience: Bachelors degree with 8+ years of related experience. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
