Job Description:The Role Do you enjoy working on cloud technologies and creating innovative solutions? As a Cloud and Platform Engineering Chapter Leader, you will blend deep Cloud Engineering knowledge with a passion of coaching, mentoring and developing associates. You are committed to improving the value delivered to our customers by collaborating with other leaders to drive adoption of engineering standards, influencing strategic decisions and build high quality data streaming platforms. You will directly manage a team of engineers who work with the Event Streaming and Data Replication Platform. The Expertise and Skills You Bring Previous line management experience and leading, coaching, mentoring, and developing teams in an agile organization Proven knowledge and experience of building and managing cloud platforms (i.e. Kubernetes with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement Builds strong partnerships with squad leaders and platform leaders to enable open discussion on how to improve our engineering maturity of our platforms. Drives change across our platforms, advocating for the right outcomes for our customers while actively influencing how we build, operate, and do things within their squad and Chapter. Hands-on experience creating data visualizations and presenting the data to senior leaders Actively sharing insights, knowledge, industry practices and developments across the organization Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with which you build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships and relationships at all levels of the organization. Experience identifying and acquiring talent needs, resource planning and talent allocation across large organizations.
