Their role is a critical and necessary role for the facilities final accreditation as outlined by the Intelligence Community Directive 705. The SSM serves as a subject matter expert and performs quality control for the customer, ensuring the construction security plan is adhered to throughout the construction process.HOW A SITE SECURITY MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACTEnsures the construction requirements for the proposed facility are in compliance with the ICD-705 and the needs of the customerEnsures compliance with the construction security plan (CSP), including documenting the process and the security features of work through photosOversees control of the site access as per the CSPPeriodically conducts security inspections throughout the construction processDocuments security violations or deviations from the CSP or the ICD-705 and reporting these findings to the Accreditation OfficialProvide day-to-day security support that includes continuous assessment of procedures to identify shortfalls and provide appropriate recommendations for revising and improving security policies, procedures and systemsAssist in developing, implanting, and training the Operations Security programBrief all levels of personnel, both in the government and senior civilian services, on a variety of security related topicsConduct and document SAP facility compliance reviews, follow-on facility reviews and facility close-outsMonitor, report and track all corrective actions resulting from compliance reviewsEnsures timely notification of pertinent security matters to program technical and management staffWHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:Required Experience3+ years related experience; Construction Manager ExperienceComplete additional safety training and/or certification as required by local site (i.e. OSHA 30 Construction Safety, OSHA Fall Protection and OSHA Confined Space) within the first 90 days of hireMust obtain CDSE STEPP ICD 705 Physical Security Construction Requirements for SAP course completion within the first 30 days of hireMust be able to pass a Site Security Manager Certification course within first 12 monthsMust be able to lift up to 40lbs to examine product deliveries.Must be able to walk long distances and up and down stairs.Desired not required:Industry accepted Site Security Manager certificationFormer Construction Surveillance TechnicianIndustry accepted Commercial Blueprint Reading certificationEducationBachelor's degree - Desired, not requiredSecurity Clearance LevelRequired - TS/SCIMust be able to obtain - TS/SCI with CI polygraphGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:401K with company matchComprehensive health and wellness packagesInternal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your careerProfessional growth opportunities including paid education and certificationsCutting-edge technology you can learn fromRest and recharge with additional paid vacation and holiday#AirforceSAPOpportunitiesThe likely salary range for this position is $89,505 - $121,095. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
