Position SummaryThe Sr. Electrical Estimator will develop and prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial electrical projects, including budgeting and bidding. Responsibilities include maintaining vendor and customer relationships, creating bid proposals, and ensuring estimates are complete and accurate.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain vendor and customer relationships.Create bid proposals and perform design-build and plan & spec estimating.Review project plans and specifications to determine scope of work.Identify bid advantages and strategies.Attend job walks to observe field conditions.Request material and equipment quotes from vendors.Ensure estimates are complete and well-organized.Communicate with customers to define project scope and negotiate pricing.Prepare and present estimating packages to senior management.Transfer awarded projects to operations team and perform buyouts.Qualifications4-year engineering degree or equivalent technical training.10+ years' experience in electrical construction estimating.2+ years' experience in a senior estimator position.Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).Email Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
