Here, you will make an impact by: Leading a team of talent maintenance and automation technicians to establish and maintain world-class operational efficiency at the Eden Prairie, MN facilitySupervising and directing direct reports with planning and execution of their assigned tasks and projects. Monitors progress and evaluates completed assignments to confirm use of correct procedures and to evaluate quality of work.Providing engineering support in the coordination of documentation related activities, i.e., drawing revisions, test methods revisions, specifications, work order management, mechanical integrity, calibration, etc.Identifying and overseeing the development and implementation of a variety of operational, policy and procedural changes to improve service and reduce costs.Overseeing, communicating, and implementing approved programs or systems.Understanding and supports safety guidelines, Manual 80, maintenance conscious engineering, and process safety management.Working with Sourcing to write and monitor purchase specifications and contractor selection.Scheduling and overseeing craftspeople for equipment and facility tasks, ensuring they have the necessary tools, information, and documentation, while maintaining efficient computerized records for Plant Engineering operations.Understanding and following global financial standards applicable to the position.Being responsible for creation, release, and change of necessary engineering documentation.Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) in an engineering discipline from an accredited institution and three (3) years of combined experience in plant engineering and/or maintenance in a private, public, government or military environment.ORAssociate's Degree/Technical Diploma (completed and verified prior to start) in maintenance, automation, mechatronics, or an engineering discipline from an accredited institution AND five (5) years of combined experience in plant engineering and/or maintenance in a private, public, government or military environment.ORHigh School Diploma/GED from seven (7) years of combined experience in plant engineering and/or maintenance in a private, public, government or military environment.Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Master's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.Experience working in the medical device field.Experience working in a GMP environment.Ability to lead and contribute across a multi-disciplinary team.Experience in Lean Six Sigma/Quality Improvement.Experience working with SAP.Excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentation).Microsoft Office proficientExperience working with Allen Bradly, Lenze, Cimplicity.Work location: Onsite: Eden Prairie, MNTravel: May include up to 5% domestic/internationalRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being Solventum offers many programs to help you live your best life - both physically and financially. Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $94,018 - $114,911, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible.
