Pre-Construction Manager

Position OverviewCome work for an award winning builder in the Cincy metro! The Pre-Construction Manager will oversee the pre-construction phase of commercial and multifamily ground up projects, ensuring that all aspects of the planning, budgeting, and design are efficiently managed. This role requires a strong focus on cost estimation, risk management, and collaboration with various stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the pre-construction process for assigned projects from initiation to completion.Develop accurate cost estimates and budgets based on project specifications and requirements.Conduct site analysis to assess project feasibility and identify potential challenges.Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.Create and manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all pre-construction activities.Negotiate contracts and agreements with subcontractors and suppliers.Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with project execution.Maintain effective communication with clients and project stakeholders throughout the pre-construction phase.Utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) for improved project visualization and coordination.Provide leadership and guidance to the pre-construction team, fostering a collaborative work environment.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in pre-construction management or a similar role.Strong knowledge of cost estimation, budgeting, and risk management practices.Proficiency in construction planning and scheduling software.Experience with contract negotiation and stakeholder management.Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proficient in BIM software and tools.BenefitsCompetitive wages401kPTO/sick timeHealth insuranceEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
