Successful candidates will have experience in Electrical Systems Design, Leading electrical design teams for several concurrent projects. This individual will be a leader with the ability to assist the Electrical Manager in managing and guiding the Electrical Group.Qualifications Bachelors or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis PE License in ability to gain reciprocity. Preferred, Not Required 10+ years' experience in electrical design of complex buildings is required. Extensive knowledge of building electrical power, lighting, and signal design, including life safety systems and energy monitoring systems Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm required. Strong computer knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, and electrical design softwareDuties Primary responsibilities include Leading electrical design teams for several concurrent projects. Coordinating the work of Electrical Engineers with the balance of a multi-disciplined team throughout a project's development and construction. Coordinating workload to complete documents on schedule. Tracking the financial aspects of projects, coordinating, and adjusting the work effort with the team to ensure that the work is completed within budget. Conducting schematic, design development and contract document working sessions with clients. Establishing and maintaining client relationships, participate in marketing, design, and production meetings with regard to electrical systems. Conducting reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance. Acting as a mentor for junior staff members.Interested in hearing more?
