Role Overview: The Good Eating Company is seeking a creative Executive Chef for our client in Palo Alto, California. The Executive Chef will oversee our brand new Indian Cuisine location, bringing fresh ideas while having the ability to own the menu. This is a hands-on and culinary role that will focus on the continued growth of our business dining account. Our goal is to become the premier workplace hospitality brand in North America. What You'll Do: Ensure all food always looks and tastes great and is visually appetizing when servedAre strong all-round culinary ability and strong craft skills in all areas of professional cookery, including; main courses; salads; sauce work; and pastry and bakingHave a strong knowledge of food and able to cook using multiple styles of cuisineRecognizing and reacting to contemporary trendsUse of correct food terminology and cooking methodsConstantly looking for new recipes and new ideas and initiatives that will improve both the quality of food and service as a wholePlay a key role and enthusiastically mentors culinary personnel What We Offer: Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience.
