Role Overview: Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for an Executive Chef 2 to join our team at Stirling Conference Centre located in the Pan American building in New Orleans LA. The current food landscape consists 1 cafe and catering operations. The Conference Centre is equipped to accommodate meetings, seminars, and conferences of varying size and style. The conference center is comprised of 13 meeting rooms and an amphitheater accommodating 225 guests. Incentives: Predominatelty M-F schedule 6am to 4pm with some early evenings and weekends What You'll Do: The Executive Chef 2 primary focus will be producting food for the conference centre catering. Duties will include but not limited to:Large Batch CookingMenu planningOrderingInventoryHands on 90% of the timeLeading a team of 10 hourly employeesCatering production What We Offer: Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. Qualifications & Requirements: Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experienceMinimum Management Experience - 2 yearsMinimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
