Production Assembler - Fiberglass Windows

Milgard Windows & Doors is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Assembler/Packager to join our growing team in the Packaging department, specifically supporting our Ultra Fiberglass Windows product line. This role is crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient packaging of our high-quality fiberglass windows for shipment to customers. You will work as part of a team preparing, packaging, and labeling finished products according to established procedures and quality standards. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.The hourly compensation starts at $22.00. Monday through Friday starting at 5:00 a.m.MITER Brands, also known as Milgard, MI Windows & Doors and PGT Innovations, is one of the nation's largest suppliers of vinyl windows and patio doors, with plants across the country.Why work at MITER BRANDSResponsibilitiesAssemble packaging materials, including boxes, crates, and protective padding, according to specifications.Carefully package finished fiberglass windows, ensuring proper protection against damage during transit.Apply labels, barcodes, and other identifying information to packages accurately.Inspect packaged products for quality and completeness before shipment.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines.Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor.Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. May assist in other production areas as needed.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment is a plus, but not required.
