Corporate Controller

ResponsibilitiesKforce has a client in the Milwaukee, WI area that is looking for a Corporate Controller. Duties: Corporate Controller will act as a strategic financial partner to the CFO and is responsible for the global accounting function including driving value creation, financial reporting and implementing financial processes and tools to support the Company's long-term strategy Serves as a technical accounting resource, is responsible for development of finance staff and has significant interaction with functional and executive leaders Performs analysis of financial results, maintains the integrity of the accounting systems and internal control environment and ensures financial statements are prepared in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Reports to Chief Financial OfficerRequirements Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting from a four-year college or university Certified Public Accountant Minimum of 15-20 years of experience preferably with previous oversight of the accounting function in a public company Proven experience in all aspects of the finance function, a track record of supporting growth and business transformation Thorough understanding of US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements Working Conditions: HybridThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
