The tool room coordinator oversees the inventory of production consumables, maintenance, safety supplies, and parts room. Oversees all of the daily functions of the parts room and its processes. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Maintains inventory for production, maintenance, spare parts, and PPE. Oversees the daily functions of the parts room. Oversees and maintains the ordering matrix. Oversees the daily stock levels of the production cages. Oversees the daily ordering and receiving of all items. Oversees the check-out of tools, supplies, and safety equipment. Maintains all records of transactions on paper and digitally. Conducts physical inventory checks and orders as needed. Help organize and oversee all parts room items to be added to the upkeep system. Prepares weekly reports associated with the parts room duties. Oversees the receiving and putting away of all items daily. Familiar with maintenance planning and preparing. Help in the finishing setup and organization of the parts room. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Regular and reliable attendance. High school diploma or equivalent. Possess computer skills in windows and excel. 3 -5 years of experience in oracle or capable of learning it. 3 -5 years of experience in Upkeep or other maintenance management systems. Ability to work independently. Capable of working closely with production, maintenance, and procurement departments Possess a strong sense of urgency and organization. Work closely with the maintenance manager. Ability to work overtime as needed. Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. Ability to rebuild or learn how to rebuild welding leads. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Frequent communication with others to exchange information. Frequent repetition of motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers. Frequent moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another. Occasional adjusting or moving objects up to 60 pounds in all directions. Constantly remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods. Constant use of computer for prolonged periods. Constantly thinking and processing information. Constantly maintaining concentration and focus on tasks. WORK ENVIRONMENT: May require occasional exposure to production areas with airborne particles, loud noises, and extreme heat and cold. Personal protection equipment is required when entering a manufacturing plant.
