Filler Packer - 3rd Shift - Paint Plant

Fill and package containers in accordance with specified procedures & standards. These duties are to be performed in accordance with all safety rules, including the wearing of proper Personal Protective Equipment, which includes steel toed, static-dissipating shoes, appropriate eye protection and full FR clothing when working in the paint plant. Additional Information: 3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday 11:00p.m. - 7:30a.m. Shift Differential: $0.40 per hour This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company's applicable plans. Review shop order to verify that all the proper materials are being used. Check spec sheet for special instructions and proper package markings. Operate filling equipment, assuring that proper fill weights and machine speeds are maintained. Inspect filled containers for proper date code, lid or cap closure, and proper label placement. Pack containers in proper boxes and pack on skids, attaching skid tags and other identifying information. Complete production reports and material deviation forms for each order. Advise Supervisor or Quality Control of any problems with equipment or product not meeting specifications. Keep work areas and equipment clean and orderly. Count remaining inventory of packaging materials at the end of production run, prior to having them put in racks. Follow all personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements. Follow all quality standards and safety rules. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future   Preferred Qualifications:  Have at least one (1) year of work experience operating machinery in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment Have at least one (1) year of work experience operating packaging equipment such as robotics, filling machines, case packers, or labelers, etc. Have at least one (1) year of work experience monitoring the quality of raw materials and/or finished goods Have at least one (1) year of work experience using material handling equipment (for example: forklifts (stand and sit), pallet jacks, hand trucks, order pickers, vacu-hoists, drum dollies, conveyor belts, etc.)   #SW
