Technical Project Manager

ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Technical Project Manager join team in Herndon, VA.As the Technical Project Manager on our team, you will be part of a high-performing software development team supporting the planning and execution of full life-cycle solutions. You will provide project management and systems engineering for a development team supporting an enterprise application. Additionally, you will help to stand up a new Operations & Maintenance (O&M) hybrid team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, flexible and hands-on, demonstrating a willingness to fill project team needs as required to achieve customer mission.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Gather requirements, identify project needs and required tasks, organize project activities for a tactical engineering need and manage project tasks and objectives to meet the customer mission.Develop and maintain positive relationships with mission partners.Identify, coordinate, and manage an ever-expanding and evolving set of needs with different stakeholders, groups, and offices to ensure goals and timelines can be met.Work with the customer and ManTech stakeholders to identify offsite space for development and engineering activities.Communicate with customer and internal leadership to keep them aware of statuses related to creation, coordination, and approval of project phases.Prepare briefings and present summaries about status at review board meetings.Facilitate technical exchange meetings for stakeholders, as needed.Engage with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure requirements are effectively defined and assessed.Conduct programmatic analysis and provide strategic recommendations for activities or projects throughout the project lifecycle.Analysis and monitoring of performance metrics of approved projects.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience or High School Diploma and 8+ years of experienceExperience as a software engineer, developer, tester or systems engineer or experience managing software development projectsExperience with the Agile development processPreferred Qualifications:5+ years supporting customers and programs in the IC CommunityExperience managing hybrid (remote and onsite) teamsExperience managing a software or applications development teamExperience serving as a Scrum MasterPMP or ITIL certificationClearance Requirements: Active/current TS/SCI w/ PolygraphPhysical Requirements:Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the timeKN.7.23
